The CC2564MODAEM is a high-performance and cost-effective Bluetooth 4.2/5 dual-mode System-on-Chip (SoC) Wireless MCU module that provides a turn-key solution for Bluetooth applications. It is an intelligent, low-power/low-cost, host-less Bluetooth multi-mode Solution and it is also a flexible evaluation and development platform for Bluetooth/BLE applications.The CC2564MODAEM is a development platform that enables developers to quickly evaluate, prototype and develop Bluetooth applications. It includes an integrated radio, an integrated baseband controller and optional firmware-based (Bluetooth 4.2 and 5) profiles, offering very low power consumption and a wide range of application possibilities. The CC2564MODAEM module is the perfect choice for applications such as home automation, beaconing applications, Bluetooth-enabled accessories & peripherals and local device to device communication. The CC2564MODAEM module is based on the CC2564 Bluetooth 4.2 / 5 dual-mode System-on-Chip (SoC) solution from Texas Instruments (TI). It features an integrated radio and baseband controller, offering low power consumption and a wide range of application possibilities. The module supports both legacy GAP based Bluetooth standard (Bluetooth Classic) and the new standard BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy). The core of the CC2564MODAEM module is the Bluetooth RF transceiver and an integrated baseband controller running the TI BlueLink software stack. The integrated baseband controller includes features such as auto-discovery, secure connections and authentication and encrypted data transmission. The BlueLink software stack provides over 30 suggested Profiles for development of various BLE applications and is supported by the TI CC2564/CC2564B Bluetooth low energy solution. The CC2564MODAEM module is preloaded with a firmware template which includes a protocol stack based on GAP, GATT and other profiles, and a set of APIs for controlling device, baseband and profiles, thus providing developers with a ready-to-use solution that requires minimal low-level programming.The CC2564MODAEM module supports both Bluetooth Classic and Bluetooth Low Energy applications and is equipped with multiple GPIOs, UARTs, SPI ports, a GPIO controlled sequence generator and an analog to digital converter for integration. It also features a densely packed SDIO interface to provide a high throughput link and enable users to make full use of the wireless capabilities of the CC2564.The CC2564MODAEM module is designed based on the Bluetooth 4.2/5 certified SoC and includes a complete Bluetooth Low Energy profile stack running on the integrated baseband controller. It is compatible with all major mobile operating systems and is designed to reduce time-to-market and make the development of Bluetooth-enabled products easier.The CC2564MODAEM module supports a range of operating frequencies from 2402 to 2480 MHz. The optimized low-power design of the module helps to extend the battery life of the application. The CC2564MODAEM module also features a low-power operation with an average current consumption of <2 mA.The CC2564MODAEM module is supported by the TI E2E online community which provides developers with online support and resources for development of Bluetooth applications. It also provides access to the Bluetooth SIG and Bluetooth 5 certification process, enabling developers to get their products certified quickly and easily.Overall, the CC2564MODAEM module is an efficient solution for developing Bluetooth applications. Its versatile features, low power consumption and integration with popular operating systems make it an ideal solution for a wide range of projects and applications.
