1. Describe

Start your design with a fully programmable FCC, IC, CE, MIC, and SRRC certified wireless microcontroller (MCU) module with built-in Wi-Fi connectivity. Texas Instruments™' SimpleLink™ CC3220MODSF12MOBR and CC3220MODAx series of modules are designed for the Internet of Things and are wireless modules that integrate two physically separate on-chip MCUs. The CC3220MODSF12MOBR and CC3220MODAx wireless MCU families support the following modes: Station, AP, and Wi-Fi Direct®. The CC3220MODSF12MOBR and CC3220MODAx modules also support WPA2 and WPA3 personal and enterprise security. The subsystem includes embedded TCP/IP and TLS/SSL stacks, HTTP server, and multiple Internet protocols. The module supports multiple Wi-Fi configuration methods, including HTTP-based AP mode, SmartConfig™ technology, and WPS2.0. The power management subsystem includes an integrated DC/DC converter that supports various supply voltages. The subsystem supports low-power modes to extend battery life, such as low-power deep sleep, hibernate with RTC, and shutdown modes. The module includes a variety of peripherals including a fast parallel camera interface, I2S, SD, UART, SPI, I2C, and a 4-channel ADC. These four modules integrate a 40-MHz crystal, 32.768-kHz RTC clock, 32-Mb SPI serial flash, RF filters, and passive components.
