Rotary compressor, also called mechanical compressor, is an important type of conveying equipment used in many industrial applications, such as oil and gas production, power generation, food processing, petrochemical, paper and pulp, chemicals and pharmaceuticals, mining and metallurgy, etc. It is a device which uses the principle of air compression to move air from a high-pressure area to a lower-pressure area. The rotary compressor works by increasing the pressure of air to create a vacuum and then forcing a gas through the vacuum.
