The CCR257 is a schottky barrier rectifier featuring low forward voltage drop and fast switching speed. It is mainly used in DC power supplies, charger circuits, telecom circuits and automotive applications. This device is available in a variety of packages including SMA, SMB, SOD-123 and SIP.

The CCR257 is a diode array which uses two Schottky Barrier Rectifiers connected either in series or parallel within the same die to permit a wide range of forward and reverse current rectification. It is designed to offer a low forward voltage drop, fast switching and superior overload protection. A schottky barrier rectifier is a type of diode which uses rectification to convert alternating current (AC) to direct current (DC). This device features a low forward voltage drop and fast switching speed.

When this device is switched on, the diode will allow current to flow in one direction and will block current flowing in the opposite direction. The four pins of this device correspond to the anode and cathode for each diode. The anode is the positive side of the diode, which is where the current will flow from when the device is switched on. The cathode is the negative side of the device, where current will flow to when the device is switched on. When this device is switched off, the device acts as an open switch and no current will flow through it.

The forward voltage drop of this device is typically 0.3V, which means that it will drop the voltage across the circuit when it is switched on. The maximum forward current of this device is 1A. The switching speed is fast and it can switch on and off within 25ns. It is also suitable for devices which require very short reverse recovery time.
