Applications

Working Principle

Each LED light will emit spectra with distinct spectral profile. The CCSFPR100BL2 utilises a total of 36 LEDs, with 30 red (630 nm), 3 green (510 nm) and 3 blue (465 nm) LEDs, and a filter wheel integrated with 7 bespoke complex spectral transmission filters. The spectral filter wheel design is based on an optimised pseudo-random sampling method which cross-joint an even sampling and sampling with better spectral discrimination power. With the internal computer algorithm, the external optical filter wheel can be selected accordingly and precisely based on the colour and texture of the target, to ensure higher colour and texture separation accuracy. The proprietary colour calibration methodology also ensures spectra traceability and accuracy.

The ETL02 2-channel etendue control feature enables the user to adjust the circular elliptical or rectangular spots to accurately match the target size with two adjustable f-numbers. A camera shading correction algorithm was also developed to ensure the image uniform illumination and reduce the visibility of artefacts, such as fingers, when using a smaller sized spot.

The product also features a user-friendly GUI for setup and integration. Its convenient and easy on-board operation is supported by a desktop controller for laptop utility, making it easy to access real-time system configuration, data storage, and analysis.
