The CD74HC377PW is designed so that it can be configured as either a D-type or J-K type flip-flop, allowing the user to select the desired functions.The CD74HC377PW is a high-speedCMOS 8-bit D-type flip-flop with a preset,clear, and complementary outputs. This device can store 8-bits of binary information and uses 3 control signals: CLK(for distinguishing two non-overlapping clock states), CE(clock enable) and Preset/Clear(for preset or clear). These control signals are used to define the sequence of operations that the device follows. The CD74HC377PW also includes two complementary outputs (Qbar and Q) that represent the two non-overlapping clock states.The CD74HC377PW is used in applications such as BUS Interface Unit, Synchronous / Asynchronous Data Transfer and Clock Generation / Synchronization. This device is used to transmit digital signals from one device to another and is useful for data input, data output, data transfer, data storage, data selection, data retrieval, and address selection .
