The CD74HC7046A is a high-frequency frequency synthesizer made of bipolar technology, manufactured by IDT (Integrated Device Technology). This product is part of their IDT’s ClockWorks™ Family product line. It combines a high-performance PLL (Phase Locked Loop) and an adjustable frequency/phase synthesizer. The CD74HC7046A is designed to provide multiple-output frequencies from a single clock input. It is optimized for use in battery-powered applications and offers low power consumption while providing the flexibility of a multi-output frequency source. The CD74HC7046A can generate up to six output frequencies, three of which are adjustable. The six outputs include: 4MHz, 9MHz, 12MHz, 24MHz, 32MHz, and 48MHz.
