CDC924DL is an application-specific clock/timing device for pre-defined timing functions. It is a mixed-signal device that can be used for a variety of needs, including frequency synthesis, spread-spectrum clocking, time reference and synchronization, voltage-controlled oscillators (VCOs), and spread-spectrum frequency modulation. The clock/timing device is available in dual-line and single-line configurations and has a range of frequency ranges, power supplies, and feature packaging options.

In its dual-line configuration, the CDC924DL contains two separate clock oscillators with independent signal outputs (A and B). The VCO mode provides the device with the ability to adjust the output frequency with an external voltage control, making the device an ideal solution for applications such as spread-spectrum clock source.
