The CEDS0524V-G consists of a highly integrated nonlinear silicon-avalanche diode array that provides a reproducible robust protection solution. The easy-to-use, low-cost surface mount array provides reliable, proven performance, enhanced ESD surges, and reduced EMI (electromagnetic interference). The CEDS0524V-G is designed with a dual-rail protection technology by connecting all the diodes in a “parallel back-to-back” configuration at the inputs of the diode array. This device operates by clamping the transient voltage and limiting the energy by absorbing it into a low impedance structure, transferring it into the diode array and dissipating the excessive energy through heat sinking.
