It also features a unique patented retention spring which eliminates the need to unbolt or fasten a terminal block to a panel.The CFTPW-26 terminal block series consists of a single block, made of copper-alloy material and a molded wire-way that is made of molded polycarbonate. The wire-way is used to hold and secure two or more individual insulated wires while the terminal block maintains connection and provides current to the circuit.The CFTPW-26 terminal block series is available in both insulated and uninsulated versions and is designed to accommodate wires ranging in size from 14 to 30 AWG. These blocks are designed with a wide range of operating temperatures, from -50○C to +125○C, allowing them to handle higher voltage and current applications.The working principle is based on a two-piece construction. The front part of the block is made up of a combined contoured design with a flat bottom. The rear portion consists of the molded wire-way and a retention spring. The wires are inserted into the flat bottom of the front part and then securely clamped into place with the retention spring.This design ensures that the wires are properly secured and will not vibrate while the circuits experience normal wear and tear.
