Gas discharge tube arresters (GDT) are one of the essential components in power systems for ensuring the safety and continuity of the power supply. A CG36.5LD004 arrester is a typical GDT arrester which slips over the suspension wires to provide efficient protection against lightning flashes. The CG36.5LD004 arrester consists of multiple GDTs installed in a cylindrical aluminium housing.
