CGS3312MX is a high performance Clock Generator, Phase-Locked-Loop (PLL) device, and Frequency Synthesizer. The CGS3312MX is designed for the clock synthesis, frequency translation, and clock multiplying or dividing applications. This product integrates a programmable oscillator, a low phase noise voltage-controlled oscillator (VCO), and a comparator to create a wide range of functions. It provides complete single-chip solutions in the Clock/Timing – Clock Generators, PLLs, Frequency Synthesizers application fields.

The most prominent feature of the CGS3312MX is the precision frequency synthesis. The device can generate nearly any frequency from DC to several dozens of Mhz, including multiple tone frequencies, with superior low phase noise characteristics. The CGS3312MX includes a programmable digital phase-locked loop (DPLL), allowing the user to program the exact target frequency with a single crystal reference input.
