CGT10U Application Field and Working Principle

The CGT10U series is a terminal block with a quick-disconnect design suitable for both industrial and domestic applications. The devices provides reliable and secure connections and can be used with a variety of signal types. The CGT10U terminal blocks come in two main types – the standard and the mini. The standard version has an inner clearance of 8mm and an outer clearance of 28mm. This gives sufficient clearance for most applications. The mini version has an inner clearance of 4.2mm and an outer clearance of 19.7mm, making it suitable for space constrained and weight sensitive applications.

The CGT10U terminal blocks have two connection types – puncture and screw type. The screw type requires a manual screwdriver for making the connection while the puncture version offers a push-in connection that can be tightened with a screwdriver. The puncture version also offers a more reliable connection.

Both the standard and mini versions of the CGT10U series can be mounted on DIN rails. This allows for easy and quick installation. The standard version can be mounted in both vertical and horizontal positions while the mini version can only be mounted in the vertical position.

The CGT10U terminal blocks are designed to provide a secure connection for low voltage signals. They come with two insulation thicknesses – 2.5mm and 5mm – ensuring reliable connection even in harsh environments. The contact interface is designed skillfully to prevent misconnection.
