A CJRREI application field is a system containing a unidirectional reaction that is used to facilitate the extraction of different products from the reaction mixture. This system makes use of several components such as a reactor, a heater, a cooling system and a vessel, which are kept isolated from the reaction chamber. For example, some systems have cooling systems which help to maintain the temperature within the reaction vessel, enabling the reaction to proceed at optimum speeds, while ensuring that the products are stripped from the reaction several orders of magnitude faster than they would be without the cooling system. Other systems feature reactors equipped with impellers, which use mechanical stirring to initiate and sustain a uniform and homogeneous reaction. The CJRREI systems may also contain an inert liquid with which the reaction is carried out.
The various components of the CJRREI systems are maintained in an isolated reaction chamber. This chamber is sealed and pressurized at the ends which prevents unwanted or undesired reactions from taking place. To ensure efficient extraction of the different product fractions, the pressurized reaction chamber is equipped with a flow control device which controls the rate of reaction-induced flow to a predetermined optimal rate.
In addition, the CJRREI systems are used to control the amount of heat or energy that is transferred to the reaction chamber. This feature is used to ensure that the reaction proceeds at an optimal rate, thereby enabling efficient and fast extraction of the desired products. The temperature can be monitored and controlled with the help of sensors that are connected to the system.
