Fixed Inductors

CLQ4D10NP-4R7NC is a fixed inductor, a passive two-terminal electrical component that stores energy in its magnetic field. It is much like a capital resistor, except the power supplied to a inductor creates a magnetic field instead of a current flow. Fixed inductors are widely used in applications such as motion control and robotics, automotive, telecommunications, and switching adaptors.

Several types of fixed inductors can be divided into air core, powdered iron core, ferrite core, thin film core, and multiturn windings. The inductance of a coil, measured in henries, is determined by the material and geometry of the core, the number of turns in the coil and the type of winding.

CLQ4D10NP-4R7NC fixed inductors are spool-wound on a plastic bobbin and constructed using compressed ferrite magnets. They are packaged in a 2 mm × 8 mm × 7 mm case and with a tolerance of ±5%. The CLQ4D10NP-4R7NC fixed inductor has an inductance of 4.7µH, an rated current of 10A, and a SRF of 29MHz.
