CMBIW-L application field and working principleCMBIW-L, also known as Compact Modular Broadband Isolator-Wavelength Lock, is an innovative technology designed to provide integrated broadband microwave radios with higher performance and greater flexibility. This technology can be used in a variety of applications, including satellite communication, radar, and wideband imaging systems. The main advantage of CMBIW-L over conventional isolator-wavelength-lock technologies is its higher isolation margin, which eliminates any need for additional antennas or filters. In addition, this technology can be combined with other technologies to develop advanced communication systems, which can be customized to meet the ever-increasing demand for efficient, reliable, and secure communications.At the heart of the CMBIW-L technology lies a hybrid microscopic membrane. This membrane is composed of two layers of micron-scale steel blades that interact with each other to generate a wavelength stabilized signal. The micro transceiver chip is then integrated with the CMBIW-L, which acts as the isolator, separating the transmitter and receiver from each other. The isolation margin of the CMBIW-L is further enhanced by the presence of a field of magnetic fields generated by the transceiver chip, which increase the impedance mismatch between the transmitter and receiver, yielding a high level of isolation.The working principle of the CMBIW-L lies in the interaction of the two layers of thin steel blades, which interact with each other to produce the required wavelength locked signal. The two blades are in a mutually perpendicular orientation relative to each other, and the gap between them is precisely controlled to ensure that the signal is properly aligned. By creating a controlled environment around the two blades, the propagating wavelength-locked signal is further stabilized and amplified before being received by the transceiver.The main advantage of using the CMBIW-L technology over conventional isolator-wavelength-lock technologies is its higher isolation margin.
