Molecular cooperative docking, also known as CMDJBLCLB, is a semi-empirical method for modeling molecular recognition between two molecules. The \'cooperative\' part of the method implies that both of the ligand and its target are explicitly modeled in the docking process. CMDJBLCLB determines the best fit of a ligand molecule to its target by optimizing the energy of interactions between specific atoms or residues of the ligand and the target. Because of its ability to accurately model complex molecular interactions, CMDJBLCLB has become established as an important tool in the drug design and discovery process.

The application fields of CMDJBLCLB are highly varied. It can be used to accurately characterize molecular interaction and structure both in artificial and natural biological systems, as well as in engineered systems like enzymes.
