CMFWA, or Cold Metal Fabrication Automatic Welding, is an automated welding process used to fabricate complex cold metal structures with precise control of material depth and shape. CMFWA is employed in the manufacture of parts such as cylinders, tanks, and solar array frames among many other applications.
