CMOD4448 BK is a new single-rectified diodes rectifier for the applications field. It\'s manufactured by Bell Precision, an international leading semiconductor manufacturer. It\'s designed to provide a reliable and efficient rectified current for medium-power applications, with a peak and average reverse current of 50volts and 400mA respectively.The rectified current produced by CMOD4448 BK improves efficiency and usability of the medium-power applications by influencing the load power dissipation. Primarily, the CMOD4448 BK rectifier eliminates the dissipated power factor in the medium-power applications, resulting in a lower power profile. By doing so, the efficiency of these applications is improved, which can be seen in the reduction of energy consumption and improved response time.The CMOD4448 BK rectifier uses an active control of the junction temperature to minimize the wasted heat, hence reducing the temperature rise significantly. The rectifier consist of a junction diode, which is connected in anti-parallel to the main MOSFET switch. An array of resistors, connected in series with the diode junction voltage, form the rectifying bridge with very high efficiency. Moreover, the integration of fast recovery diode provides the highest power handling in the least amount of time and space.Furthermore, the switching circuit of the rectifier enables the highest possible efficiency of up to 98.6%. CMOD4448 BK rectifier has a very low switching loss and its low output-voltage ripple ensures an excellent performance even under normal load conditions.
