CPC1580PTR is an ultra-fast IGBT and MOSFET gate driver, which is designed for driving IGBTs and power MOSFETs in applications such as motor drives, DC/AC inverters, UPS, welding and traction converters. The device provides tremendous speed and power efficiencies over traditional isolated gate drivers and features a very small package size for use in densely populated IGBT module designs. It also has thermal degreasing protection during current peaks and is capable of providing superior performance even in applications where isolation is not required.
