CPFE1000FI48 is a series of AC-DC converters from TDK-Lambda, designed for industrial and medical applications. This series of converters offers exceptional power conversion efficiency, high power density and is reliable and durable.
The CPFE1000FI48 series provides output power of 48Vdc, at current ratings up to 60A. The input voltage range is 90-264 Vac, 47-63Hz at full load and maximum input voltages of up to 282 Vac. The efficiency of the CPFE1000FI48 series is up to 93%, with a no load input power of less than 0.3W. Other features of the CPFE1000FI48 include a high power density of 3,600 W/in³, a built in over-current protection circuit and remote on/off.
The working principle of the CPFE1000FI48 AC-DC converters is based on the idea of controlling the output voltage using a feedback loop. A rectifier circuit is used to convert the AC input voltage to a DC voltage. The output voltage of the rectified DC is then fed to a filter network, which removes any residual AC components and produces a DC output voltage. The output voltage is then monitored and compared to the reference voltage, and if the output voltage differs from the reference voltage, the necessary adjustments are made in the current and voltage regulation to keep the output voltage constant.
