The CPT30045 is an array of four diode bridges that each include four fast ramp-up/down avalanche-rated diodes. It is a rectifier bridge designed for use in line-commutated-diode (LCD) power supply applications, where the diode bridge rectifies alternating input current to direct current output. The array is housed in a 32-pin package with each of the four bridges connected in parallel.

In order to optimize the performance of the CPT30045, the input voltage should be operated within a range of 13-18V. This range allows the diode bridge to perform its rectification operation without exceeding its maximum power dissipation rating. Each bridge has an on-state voltage drop of 1.25V and a maximum peak forward current of 25A. The CPT30045\'s fast recovery avalanche-rated diodes enable it to provide high speed diode clamping on line transients and narrow input voltage swings.

The CPT30045\'s high avalanche current rating also provides improved protection against line transients, while its low forward voltage drop ensures optimal input current recovery.
