The CR3602AB has a breakdown voltage of 53 Volts and a stand-off voltage of 48 Volts, allowing for effective protection from EWSD and ESD. Its low leakage current and its fast response time makes it ideal for protecting application sensitive to high peak power spike.

The CR3602AB also features a self-restoring protective mechanism, which is activated when triggered by a sharp voltage spike. It then shunts the spike’s energy to ground, maintaining normal circuit operation during and following the impulse’s surge. As soon as the voltage spike passes, the diode automatically resumes normal, uninterrupted operation.

The CR3602AB is also RoHS-compliant, eliminating the need for pre-treatment or cleaning processes prior to welding. The device is also available in two different packages, SOT-235-7 and SOT-89-5, making it suitable for different application requirements.
