The comparator circuit compares the frequency of the error signal to the reference level and produces an output voltage that is used to adjust the output frequency of the synthesizer.The power control loop consists of a power-on reset (POR) circuit and a supply current limiter. The POR circuit ensures that the synthesizer is started in a steady state, while the current limiter ensures that the synthesizer does not draw excessive current.
