The CS2000CP-DZZ is a digital-based frequency synthesizer that is used for frequency generation, frequency recognition, and frequency matching. It is available for applications such as clock generators, clock distribution, frequency synthesis, and clock synchronization. The CS2000CP-DZZ is based on a digital frequency synthesis concept that is designed to provide precise and low-noise output frequencies in an easy-to-use, reliable, and affordable manner. It supports a wide frequency range of 0.2 MHz to 250 MHz and is capable of providing very precise and low-noise output frequencies.The CS2000CP-DZZ is designed to produce digitally synthesized frequency close to the requested frequency by its Frequency Control Word (FCW) digital word. The frequency control word (FCW) is a digital word used to control the output frequency of a frequency synthesizer. It is stored in the non-volatile memory of the device and consists of three parts: the system reference, frequency channel numbers and the channel offset.The system reference is the frequency of the reference oscillator that is used as the reference frequency for the frequency synthesizer. This reference frequency is typically a crystal-controlled oscillator frequency. The frequency channel numbers indicate the desired step size and resolution of the frequency synthesizer. For example, a frequency channel number of 8 would indicate that the frequency resolution of the system is 8Hz/step. The channel offset is used to create an offset relative to the desired channel frequency. This offset is typically used to fine-tune the output frequency to the desired target frequency.The CS2000CP-DZZ is capable of generating frequency output over the range of 0.2 to 250 MHz. The actual output frequency is determined by the frequency control word or FCW. The output frequency can be changed by simply changing the frequency control word and reprogramming the device.The CS2000CP-DZZ also features continuous narrow band and wideband operation modes, which allow frequency-agile operation.
