CS51022AEDR16G is a highly integrated SMPS controller offering maximum flexibility in the design of low voltage DC-DC switching power supplies. Its ambitious feature set includes current-mode control, fixed frequency adjustable-frequency operation, programmable soft-start, voltage and current protections, fault protection, programmable PWM frequency and peak current limit, overload protection and an integrated 2.5V reference.
This device is designed for use with positive and negative high-voltage inputs, for both CV/CC and switching regulator applications with wide voltage ranges. It supports both flyback topology designs and buck topologies with or without synchronous rectification.

Working Principle
The CS51022AEDR16G uses current-mode control to regulate the output voltage. The error signal is compared against the reference voltage and will determine the duty cycle of the output signal to the power switch.
