The CS5307GDWR24 is a three-phase synchronous rectifier controller designed for applications in dc-dc power conversion. It is a variant of the standard CS5307 increasing its robustness and integrated feature set. Using its onboard driver and fault tolerant design, the CS5307GDWR24 switching controller offers a comprehensive solution for dc-dc applications from 1A to 700A, making it an ideal choice for demanding applications such as automotive, telecom, IT and industrial.

Features

The CS5307GDWR24 is designed for synchronous rectification, phase balancing and overload protection. The controller supports de-rating and burst-mode operation and features adjustable fault-start conditions, allowing the device to be tailored for specific applications. Application Field and Working Principle

When a load is being supplied from the output of the rectifier stage, the controller will monitor the balance between them, providing the proper duty cycles to each of the power FETs of the rectifier stage to maintain the voltage and current balance. By monitoring the output at the rectifying stage and adjusting the duty cycles accordingly, the controller ensures the proper flow of power to the load regardless of its varying needs.Additionally, the CS5307GDWR24 supports phase-balancing and in-system programming of all parameters. The in-system programming features allow parameters, such as PWM frequency, predetermined signal levels, fault-thresholds and initial PWM pulse widths, to be set through an external terminal, which increases configurability and timesaving while reducing component costs.
