The CS5534-ASZ is a learn-and-configurable, low-power, high-performance 12-bit ADC with a high level of resolution suitable for a variety of signals and controlled environments. It has a stable reference voltage to ensure high accuracy, robust and reliable operation. The CS5534-ASZ features low power, advanced noise reduction techniques and is programmable for a wide range of applications including industrial, communications and medical.The CS5534-ASZ is a 12-bit ADC with an analog-to-digital conversion of up to 18.75 million samples per second (MS/s). It has a 10μsec/bit, full signal bandwidth of 1 MS/sec and a self-test feature which allows the fluctuating signal voltage to be measured.The device operates on a single-supply voltage, typically between 2.5 V to 5.0 V, and features a wide input range of ±1 V, low input bias current, low noise and high linearity. Furthermore, the CS5534-ASZ has a low power, adaptive-auto-zeroing, low-pass filter operating at up to 2 MHz.The device also features a wide range of digital input capabilities including multi-stage decimation, synchronous and asynchronous sample-and-holds, adjustable digital notch filters and delta-sigma and A/D conversions. These features make it convenient for applications such as instrumentation, power management and communication networks.The CS5534-ASZ has the option of a 16-lead, 20-pin or 60-pin package with 0.50 mm and 0.65 mm lead pitches. This makes it versatile and cost-effective for a variety of application and target markets.The CS5534-ASZ system design is modular, reducing time-to-market, flexibility, and scalability. The system includes a dual-slope ADC, 40-bit programmable MUX and channel gain control, and an internal temperature sensor.The ADC system includes a wide range of on-board calibration options. These include auto-zeroing and state machine-based programming for analog-to-digital conversion.The CS5534-ASZ uses a high resolution delta sigma architecture to achieve impressive dynamic performance with a small die area.
