The Expander features a single-byte instruction coding, which enables three independent 8-bit ports, 8-bit maskable interrupt inputs, and bidirectional bus transceivers. The Expander is capable of automatically switching between 8-bit, 8/N-bit, and 8/N-bit with 1-screen mode for rapid data transfer and strong error correction capabilities. The Expander also supports CMOS/TTL compatible I/O. Inputs accept up to +15V logic levels, and the outputs are available at the specified logic levels.The Expander is powered by a single 5V power supply.
