Working Principle

The CSFM103-G is composed of two high-frequency rectifiers and a insulated-gate-bipolar-transistor (IGBT). The two high frequency rectifiers are connected in series to form a symmetrical bridge-rectifier circuit. The center point of the bridge rectifier is connected to the anode of the IGBT.The anode of the IGBT can be connected to either an AC or DC voltage source. When an AC voltage source is used, the IGBT anode is connected to the positive and negative AC voltages, respectively. When a DC voltage source is used, the IGBT anode is connected to the positive and the zero voltage line, respectively.The IGBT is operated by applying a gate voltage to its gate terminal with a pulse-width-modulated (PWM) signal. This control signal can modulate the current through the IGBT to realize variable control of the voltage across the IGBT.The two high-frequency rectifiers have a large input voltage range, which can improve the efficiency of signal transmission, reduce signal distortion, and prevent reverse-bias breakdown and semiconductor devices from excessive currents.
