The CTSLV394NG is one of the most popular clock generator, PLL and frequency synthesizers used in the market today.
The CTSLV394NG is a fully integrated signal-processing IC which operates up to a maximum frequency of 5.63GHz. This high-performance clock/timing generator is available as a standard-sized BGA package, and is provided with an accurate, programmable reference clock coupled with a highly stable VCO. The CTSLV394NG can be driven by either a crystal or a differential clock reference.
The CTSLV394NG generate the clock outputs using a combination of Phase Locked Loops (PLLs) and dividers. The PLLs receive a clean reference clock, which is divided down to a convenient frequency, then multiplied up to an optimum frequency matching the crystal clock.
