The CTSLV310QG is a high-performance, low-cost differential clock fanout buffer that is optimized for PCIe Gen3 and SAS10G applications. The device includes one differential clock input and four differential clock outputs that operate over a wide voltage range of 1.8 V to 3.3 V. This device provides a robust and reliable solution for fanning out clocks in systems that require a wide range of data rates.
The CTSLV310QG clock fanout buffer is designed to distribute a single low-skew differential clock to four low-skew differential clock outputs. The device is capable of handling data rates up to 2.4 Gbps. The CTSLV310QG has an extremely low input-to-output skew of less than 500 ps and can provide up to 45 dB of isolation between the four outputs. It is available in 16-pin TSSOP packages and operates from a 1.8 V to 3.3 V supply over the industrial temperature range.
The CTSLV310QG clock fanout buffer can be used in a wide range of applications including: servers and storage, communication, data acquisition and measurement, digital and multi-media audio systems, system boards and motherboards, high speed logic boards, digital and analog cross-point switching systems, and more.
The CTSLV310QG clock fanout buffer employs a unique delay-locked loop (DLL) technology that ensures low jitter performance across a wide range of clock frequencies. The device also features an on-chip clock conditioner that provides adaptive on-chip synchronization of the output clocks with the input clock, thus allowing for greater flexibility in clock distributions.
Additionally, the device is designed to minimize the effects of external power supply noise for improved noise immunity and reliability. This is accomplished through the use of on-chip power supply decoupling and noise filtering circuitry. The CTSLV310QG also features a wide operating temperature range of -40°C to +115°C and is designed to withstand a minimum of 500kV surge.
The CTSLV310QG clock fanout buffer is a robust, reliable, and cost-effective solution for distributing differential clocks in a wide range of applications.
