CTX25-4A-R is a transformer designed to provide reliable signal matching to maximize the signal transmission capability of systems. It is suitable for use in automotive, consumer electronics, PC/LAN, data communications, industrial applications and consumer audio-video equipment. The big advantage of CTX25-4A-R lies in its ability to provide reliable signal transformation for a wide range of applications.
CTX25-4A-R has a core size and inductance factor of 5 mm, a 4A max load. Its insulation resistance is over 1000MΩ. This high temperature and moisture resistance make it appropriate for use in industrial environments and applications. Alongside, the use of ferrite materials minimizes electronic noise in its circuitry.
The CTX25-4A-R transformer utilizes a series-connected-series-bar configuration, which is controlled by a PC board mounted on the transformer’s housing surface. The two sets of circuits connected by two series-connected windings pass the current through each other, enabling the transformer to isolate the two circuits. As well, a built-in heatshrink material reduces the amount of heat generated from the transformer due to electrical insulation and cools down the circuit.
Its series-bar configuration feature enables the transformer to extend the signal bandwidth from a wide range of signal frequencies or from a single frequency. This feature ensures that signals can transmit accurately over short and long distances. Additionally, the transformer has an impedance of more than 1 Mohm, which allows for the transmission of signals over long distances with minimum RF noise.
The transformer’s circuitry includes an automatic power saving synchronization mechanism which helps provide power savings, mainly during peak hours. The automatic power synchronization omits the need for a separate device to control the power management of the system, providing cost saving and efficient signal transmission. The automatic power saving synchronization can also be used to reduce the power consumption of the system by the same amount as a mechanical transformer.
The CTX25-4A-R transformer also supports various power management technologies, such as energy-saving, power-management, cooling, over-current and heat-sink protection. This ensures that the transformer offers the best possible performance while preventing damage to sensitive components. Additionally, the transformer is able to operate without any additional external power supply.
