A CURC306-G is a single rectifier diode that is made from silicon and features an ultrafast soft recovery time. It is a fast, rugged and reliable diode with good performance. The CURC306-G is widely used for power supply rectification, snubber circuits, switching applications and high-frequency rectification. It is also optimized for high-frequency operation and efficient rectification. The CURC306-G is ideal for designs that require minimal number of components with less resulting circuit complexity.

The CURC306-G is available in a wide range of voltages, including 6V, 10V, 12V, 15V and 20 V. It has a maximum repetitive reverse voltage of 600V and a maximum peak reverse voltage or VRRM of 600V. Its maximum forward voltage is 1.2V and it has a maximum forward current of 3A. The operating temperature range of the CURC306-G is between -65°C and 150°C.

In terms of its working principle, the CURC306-G has two layers of disks that are electrically connected. The disks contain a negative charge on the top layer and a positive charge on the bottom. When a positive voltage is applied to the anode terminal, electrons from the top layer are forced to the bottom layer, resulting in a flow of current. Since the electrons cannot return to the top layer, this results in a one-way flow of current. This is the same working principle as a rectifier diode.

The CURC306-G is widely used in power supply rectification, snubber circuits, switching applications, high-frequency rectification and inverters. This single rectifier diode has a soft recovery time that allows it to be used in high-frequency switching applications.
