Working Principle
The CX4 terminal block system is based on a completely safe and reliable interconnection principle: In this connection system, the heavy-duty terminals are equipped with a spring pressure clip that is securely bolted to the wall or panel with a tension applied to the connection. This ensures a secure connection, even with the most extreme environmental conditions, as the terminals are welded together and are resistant to vibration, shock and corrosion. This is also known as a \'brooding\' connection. The insulation material prevents current leakage and contact between adjacent circuits. The working principle works on a simple one-push system so that the components can be connected and disconnected quickly, without any special tools.
CX4 offer superior isolation between two connected circuits, which is very important in high voltage applications. It offers improved mechanical strength and higher tensile strength. This system also uses a 2-part contact technology which ensures low contact resistance.
The CX4 system has been designed and tested in compliance with relevant IEC standards, including UL 1711, UL 1609, and UL 1059.
