CY14B101NA-ZS25XI is a non-volatile memory chip. It is suitable for a wide range of applications such as embedded system, data acquisition, power management, automotive and so on. The device supports up to 20MHz SPI clock and up to 800kHz I²C clock. The serial interface for SPI and I²C can be operated in three different transfer modes.

Once the instruction and address are received, the device will generate an internal Read Pulse which will enable the Transfer Latch and initiate a data transfer. The transfer latch will enable the output buffers to pass the data in the addressed location on to the I/O pins.

The CY14B101NA-ZS25XI contains two non-volatile control flags. These flags are used to control and protect data. The Write-Protect flag is set when the user wants to protect the data from any further changes. The Read-Protect flag is set when the user wants to protect the data from being read out. Once either of these flags is set, it cannot be reset until the entire device is erased.
