The CY22150FZXC is an advanced programmable clock generator which functions as a synthesizer, modulator, and divider. This on-chip DDS generates a waveform which is the product of a frequency division generated by the two 16-bit up/down counters, and phase division generated via the register. The phase division tuned by the register is added to a 0-255 Programmable phase offset which resulted in a frequency division ratio of 2 to 256.

The CLK2 output can either be operated in as a PLL or an independent output. When operated in PLL mode, the frequency division ratio between the input and output is adjustable from 1 to 256. In independent output mode, the frequency division ratio changes from 2 to 256. For both modes, the duty cycle is adjustable from 0.05% to 95%.
