CY2305SXC-1H is a clock synthesizer and frequency generator that is used to generate a low-cost, low-jitter, single-frequency crystal clock output. This has wide applications in different industry-standard clock and data systems, such as telecommunications, telemetry, automotive, industrial control, medical, and avionics. The device has a very small form factor and consumes less than 300mW of power.
The CY2305SXC-1H is available in 25MHz, 50MHz and 100MHz versions, designed for multiple frequency applications. It features a wide range of frequency synthesis, ranging from 6kHz ~ 200MHz. The internal PLL supports up to 11 inputs, which enables simultaneous frequency switchover for low-frequency, medium-frequency and high-frequency applications. It is also suitable for applications such as jitter attenuation, clock and data recovery, frequency translation and frequency derivation.
The CY2305SXC-1H\'s working principle is based on phase-locked loop (PLL) technology, incorporating an integrated VCO. The input reference clock is processed through a phase detector circuit and the output VCO frequency can be adjusted based on the reference input according to the control logic. The low phase noise and jitter make the CY2305SXC-1H suitable for distributed clock systems.
