The CY7B994V-5AXCT is a highly integrated clock generator suitable for a wide range of clock and timing applications. As part of the Cypress ClockGenerator family, it is designed to generate any frequency from 0 to 250 MHz in single-ended or differential output format without the need for an external oscillator or clock source. This makes it ideal for those applications using high performance, low power, and low cost clock solutions, such as system clocks and clock dividers for embedded systems, server applications, communication, imaging, and video applications.

The CY7B994V-5AXCT clock generator is capable of generating any output frequency from 0 to 250 MHz by simply programming one register value. It has a selectable output format of either single-ended or differential, suitable for various low jitter clock requirements. It is also capable of either 3.3V or 2.5V operation, with a supply current of 100mA.

The CY7B994V-5AXCT clock generator is based on a unique architecture called ClockDomain Sharing.
