The CY8C4127LQI-BL483T is a multi-protocol, low-power radio frequency (RF) transceiver integrated circuit (IC) intended for the development of devices operating in the Zigbee, 802.15.4 and Bluetooth Low Energy sub-1GHz frequency bands. It is designed to enable the development of products for a range of applications that include home and building automation, wireless personal area network (WPAN) communications, medical device communication and sensor nodes among others.
The CY8C4127LQI-BL483T integrates a complete RF transceiver system to provide users with a one-chip RF solution. This multi-protocol device supports the 2.4GHz, 4.2GHz and 868MHz ISM bands as well as the sub-GHz proprietary bands and 256kb EEPROM memory that enable advanced network features. It provides up to +14dBm of output power in a small 8-contact package which is 5mm x 5mm x 0.8mm in size.
In order to support multiple applications, the CY8C4127LQI-BL483T provides an extensive feature set that includes three operating modes. The transmitter and receiver paths of the transceiver are fully integrated and include internal filtering and matching circuits. Additionally, the integrated oscillator and wake up signal ensures low power consumption even during periods of low data rates. An on-board 10-bit ADC and two 10-bit DAC’s are also provided to enable flexible control of RF transmission and reception.
