Working Principle

CYP15G0201DXB-BBI is an CMOS transceiver. It uses SFP (Small Form Factor Pluggable) modules and Integrated Circuits (ICs) to integrate optical data transfer components into one device. It has several integrated components, such as a transmitter laser diode, one or two transceivers, a photodiode, one or two transimpedance amplifiers, and a controller.

When transmitting a signal, the first step is to convert the electrical signal into optical signal by the transmitter laser diode. The signal is then transmitted to the receiver through the fiber.
