CYP15G0401TB-BGI is a high speed signaling application interface which is used for telecom and datacom systems. This product is designed for very high speed applications, such as Ethernet, SONET/SDH, and Fibre Channel. The Cypress interface supports up to 10 gigabits per second data transfer rate.
CYP15G0401TB-BGI is based on high speed, 24 bit design architecture. The interface consists of a controller, special purpose registers, and an LED Driver Register. The 24 bit design architecture includes two sets of control lines, one set of bidirectional data lines and one set of signal lines. This enables the system to access multiple devices on the same interface, while allowing it to provide cable and optical transceiver support up to 10Gbps.
