Solid State Relays

Working Principle

When the current is switched off the LED is no longer illuminated and the photo-diode is no longer activated. This causes the mosfet switch to be turned off and the load is deactivated. The resistance in the circuit prevents any over-current that could damage the circuit and also prevents any back-feed of current.
