D4NH-4ABC-NPT: Application Field and Working Principle

The D4NH-4ABC-NPT is especially designed for installations in industrial fields to control heavy machinery. It is used to restrict and limit the working range of machinery, as well as for controlling the paths of movement in high load applications. As an ability to operate at temperatures of up to 160 °C and humidity level of 95%, it performs its job properly in hot and moist environment. Moreover, it comes in two sizes, normally open and normally closed, which can be used in different applications.

The working principle of the D4NH-4ABC-NPT is simple and has two parts. The first part is the contactor which has a fixed contact and a rotary contact that is rotated by a plunger fitted in it. The plunger is spring loaded and when the plunger is pushed, it rotates the contact, opens or closes the circuit as desired. The second part is the limiter which consists of a stationary contact and a movable contact. The movable contact is moved when the plunger is pressed, thus limiting the desired extent of movement of the other physical objects.

Both the contactor and the limiter are connected with a terminal. This terminal is designed to provide a low power circuit for the electric current to pass through when the plunger is depressed and to turn on or off the desired application. Thus, the D4NH-4ABC-NPT helps to control and limit the flow of electricity, signal or applications in different industrial fields and applications.
