D8020L is a single-phase, 125V/1.3A, passivated, sensitive gate, 25mΩ, surface mount rectifier diode.This diode can also be used in AC-DC, high frequency circuits and in applications that require high speed switching.It is used in a wide variety of applications, such as power supply circuits, circuit control, high speed switching, and AC-DC conversion.
The D8020L consists of two opposed diodes connected in series, with each diode having a forward voltage rating of 125V.The series connection of the diodes increases the forward voltage and current ratings.When used in AC-DC applications, this diode can be used as an uncontrolled rectifier, allowing an increase in the current throughput.For high-speed switching applications it can be used as a controlled rectifying switch, allowing for a more reliable and faster switching speed than an uncontrolled rectifying switch.
