The DA14580ATDB-P is a device designed by Dialog Semiconductor used for radio frequency (RF) evaluation and development. This combination allows a device to simultaneously communicate with all protocols in the 868/915 MHz frequency band. The device is also integrated with an ARM Cortex-M0 CPU and includes an EEPROM, SRAM, Flash memory, a UART and GPIOs. The integrated memory enables in-system programming so devices can be reconfigured as needed.The DA14580ATDB-P is programmed via an external programmer, which can be purchased separately, and supports on-the-fly programming. This feature allows users to debug, modify, and test code without having to remove their device from the system.The DA14580ATDB-P includes a range of development tools and software that enable users to test and evaluate their product designs. The SDK is available for download from Dialog Semiconductor’s website. It includes example applications and an integrated development environment.The SDK allows users to develop Bluetooth Smart, ZigBee, ANT, aR ATR, wireless M-Bus and GPS applications. In addition, it also supports the Contiki OS which is an open source operating system designed for low-power wireless applications. This OS can be used to quickly develop wireless IoT applications and systems.The DA14580ATDB-P evaluation boards and development kits provide a platform to evaluate and develop wireless applications. The development kit consists of the DA14580ATDB-P low-power radio transceiver and an evaluation board along with example applications and software.The DA14580ATDB-P operating temperature range is -40°C to 85°C and it consumes only 1 mA in receive mode and 12 mA in transmit mode.
