DA15PTI (double angeline 15 pin and 3 line) is a connector recommended by IEEE1394-1995 IEC60958 and EIAJRC-9703 international standard in digital audio and video signal transmission, belonging to the D-Sub connectors series. It is an integrated connector consisting of 15 pin male. Generally used for the transmission of digital audio, video interface and as the external interface of peripheral electronic products and computer related products.

The structure of DA15PTI is composed of an insulating body, exterior casing, contact holder and contact terminal pins. The insulating body has a rectangular groove, which is provided with an anti-distortion spring for the contact holder. The contact holder carries contact terminals and is connected with a grounding shell on the side. The screw is installed on the grounding shell which can be used to fix the contact. The exterior casing can easily be fitted over the insulating body.

The working principle is that the contact terminals are utilized to connect two adjacent pins of the same line. The contact arrangement of the two pins is divided into three lines. In the first line, all the pins are connected to the corresponding positions in the second line. In the second line, the only pins connected to the corresponding positions in the third line. In the third line, all the pins are connected together.
