The DAC0800LCMX/NOPB is a digital-to-analog converter designed for applications that require accurate, low-noise analog waveforms over a wide operating range. This device is a precision 10-bit digital-to-analog converter with a wide range of features, making it ideal for applications including data acquisition, industrial control and instrumentation, audio and video processing, and robotics.The DAC0800LCMX/NOPB is a voltage-output DAC device. It is capable of producing a single-ended analog voltage output ranging from 0 to 1023.2 mV with a 10-bit resolution. The device has a wide range of operating conditions including input voltages from ±2.7V to ±15V and operating temperatures from –40°C to +85°C. It has an integrated low-noise switching regulator that allows for low current consumption, making it ideal for battery- powered applications. The on-board voltage-controlled oscillator ensures that the device remains stable over wide temperature ranges. The DAC0800LCMX/NOPB also has an optional on-board reference voltage, as well as an analog input protection feature.The DAC0800LCMX/NOPB is operated by an asynchronous serial interface, based on Microchip\'s SPI™ or I²C™ protocols. The SPI™ interface is capable of transferring data bits at up to 100Mbps, while the I²C™ interface is capable of transfer rates of up to 400Kbps. Both interfaces feature interrupts for data transfer events, allowing for minimal processor overhead. The serial interface can be used for S/PDIF audio data as well as other digital signal formats.The DAC0800LCMX/NOPB offers a high level of accuracy, due to its onboard 10 bit Analog to Digital Converter (ADC). This on-board ADC provides the DAC0800LCMX/NOPB with accurate 0.25% accuracy, allowing for precise adjustment of analog voltage values. The integrated voltage-controlled oscillator (VCO) ensures stability over wide temperature ranges and provides a power-up reset signal for specialized applications.In terms of its application fields, the DAC0800LCMX/NOPB is suitable for a wide range of applications.
