The DAC70504EVM from Texas Instruments is an Evaluation Module (EVM) kit for the DAC70504 Digital to Analog Converters (DACs). Additionally, the onboard microcontroller and comprehensive software package provide the interface and diagnostic controls required.

The EVM also contains an onboard 8-kΩ, 1% resistive load with a ±0.2% gain accuracy, for DAC performance measurements over the input and output range. This allows designers to quickly evaluate the accuracy of the DAC70504 when implemented into their application. The EVM also includes a 3 dB step attenuator for checking the amplitude flatness performance of the DAC along with a socket for connecting an external 50Ω load. The DAC70504 is also supported by the Simulink/Real Time Workshop (RTW) software platform of Texas Instruments.
