The DAC7554EVM is a digital-to-analog converter board (DAC) designed for application field evaluation, characterization, and testing. The board provides up to 16 bits (maximum) resolution and is ideal for a wide variety of applications, including automotive, industrial, communication and consumer products.The DAC7554EVM board is based on the Texas Instruments DAC7554EVM (DAC7554E) series of digital-to-analog converters. The DAC7554EVM includes a 5V reference and features a precision output slew rate of 8MHz (typical). The board also includes an RMS-based low noise output amplifier with a slew rate of 10MHz (typical). The board has a 2-wire serial-interface control, allowing for easy connection to many types of processors and microcontrollers.The DAC7554EVM board includes an on-board resistor array that can provide precision resolution when configured to reduce the number of output bits.
